Expanding and Enhancing Healthcare Emergency Preparedness Capacity in the Bronx
The purpose of the BEPC is for members to connect, help each other, and learn together as we respond to healthcare emergency events in the Bronx community.
The purpose of the BEPC is for Bronx-based Healthcare organizations to come together and partner in emergency preparedness activities and trainings.
We aim to have strong inter-agency communication and to maintain situational awareness during local emergencies.
We also have a Social Work Disaster Response Team (SWDRT) that provides Disaster Mental Health Care and Trainings.
Our vision is to create a visible and resilient healthcare community that can effectively prepare for and respond to emergencies and disasters.
